CDRX is a sculptor. He works with sound, adjusting it, changing the structure to make a track which inspires the listener to close their eyes and imagine an alternate film for their life. Or simply to meditate.
He lives alone in a small town (less than 1000 people) with no direct contact with others musicians, crafting music in his "secret laboratory".
A student of architecture. A lover of music. From the Carter Family to Merle Travis and then to the Swans and Current 93. His taste and inspiration is wide ranging.
Just the other night, he DJ'ed a set of music of the 30's to 50's that inspired people to dance like they were crazy. Now it's your turn.
"Cheat your landlord if you can and must, but do not try to shortchange the Muse. It cannot be done. You can't fake quality any more than you can fake a good meal." --William S. Burroughs, The Western Lands (1987)
